Energy Management

A power management system enables the optimization of the energy input in industrial and functional buildings. Our offer includes hardware and software components which record, archive and process energy data continuously.

A precise knowledge about the consumption profile permits the detection of savings potential, efficient energy procurement and, thus, a cut in energy costs. On the one hand, the monitoring of stipulated performance limits may help to avoid unnecessarily high demand charges or penalties and, on the other hand, it may help to use the full performance capacity.

The integration of power switches via inputs/ outputs or Profibus DP enables the monitoring and display of the switch position and the teleswitching - with the appropriate permission - as well. With the integration via DPV1, up to 50 process data and messages of the SENTRON PAC3200 and SENTRON PAC4200* multifunction metering devices can be visualized.

According to customers’ specification, XPERTEC SOMMER ENERGY develops plant schemes which display energy distributions, status massages, trend curves and energy load curves.

Data recorded and archived by means of SIMATIC WinCC powerrate* can be exported to Excel and they can be displayed in several reports as well.
